Week Number 3 of our 5 Week "Virtual Film Festival" Honoring "The King of Cool" get's kicked up a notch. As usual, we'll have two films. The first one is intense. The second is Director Sam Peckinpah's favorite. Both are pure McQueen. This has been a labor of love for Yours Truly!

I own Papillon. If it was a book the cover would have fallen off by now. I don't have 'The Great escape', but you can buy it for me for Valentine's day... instead of heart tree lights ;)
I can't tell you how much I am looking forward to this.
Great choice!
I am so embarrassed to admit that I don't believe I've ever seen a Steve McQueen movie. But that just means I'll have some great times playing catch up with the rest of you! It will give me new flicks for running on the treadmill, eh?
Tricia: Hard to believe that time of year is coming around so soon! I inagine Fed Ex has to make a lot of Valentine deliveries to you, my friend! lol!
Keri: You'll use an ear phone too, right? The 10 I've selected are really a great sampling. He made 30 films in all and as long as Blogger stops blaning out more people will know about it. I turned my computer on at 2:30 to a Blank Page. At least I have 4 more hours before they sign off for maintenance. Ciao!!
I met Sam Peckinpah a few months before he died. I hung out with him all afternoon. WAY COOL!
Oh, man! You've got to e-mail me about this story. How incredible, Lisa!!
Awww, you are too sweet.
Yes, lots of Valentine's day deliveries would be nice.
Unfortunately. however, my husband would have to beat someone with their own box of chocloates! LOL
Unless it was Godiva. Then he'd better let me have the chocloates and beat them with the empty box ;)
Chocolates.
Chocolates.
I fell into a chocolate daze just writing about it.
Must work on that!
Tricia: You could place a Yellow Sticky note on his steering wheel with the message: "Godiva Chocolates, Please!" What do you think?
All: Tricia has been wonderful in helping me post pictures as my system is simply not accepting them normally and I am very grateful for her generosity in helping!
Tricia, is... well Tricia. I'm glad we've hooked up and she has become a friend... right Tricia?
Denny: Thanks to you, yes. She's a great lady and certainly helped me with a glitch I'll continue t have until the software issue gets resolved. Very generous and kind of Tricia to step forward. I'll be by today to visit both of you!!
