FRIDAY MOVIE SUGGESTION NIGHT PRESENTS: "MESSAGE IN A BOTTLE"!
>__________________
This movie was released in 1999, although I just previewed it. The timing for it, given the changing seasons couldn't be better. This is a nice movie that is well paced, well acted and concerns a shipbuilder dealing with the loss of his young wife. A tragic message contained in a bottle is discovered by another woman while jogging, and she is determined to track down the rightfully intended person. Essentially, this is a hopeful movie about loss, healing and a rebirth of life through loving again. The Cast: Kevin Costner is Garrett Blake; Robin Wright Penn is Theresa Osborne; Paul Newman is Dodge Blake. Enough said. Go enjoy it!

I have not seen this movie. I might just have to rent it now.
Thanks for stopping by...
I wonder how I missed this one. Have to give it a shot, Thanks.
I've always liked Robin Wright Penn although I think Sean is an ass. I love your Movie suggestions!
Jessica: But of course! :D
Bud: I'm a huge fan of Paul Newman and he does an always excellent job here.
Patti: I haven't figured out Sean. He's a great actor, he's dated Jewel and he has a beautiful wife. But the media has shown his anger which is scary. I'm not into that anger stuff.
Michael, I am sorry but I saw this once. zzzzzzzzz is all I can remember from the movie. Now, the hubs watched it TWICE and liked it but then again, he LIKED The Bridges Of Madison COunty and Hope Floats too.
Tonite E.T. is on!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Wee One and I are going to watch it :)
Have a super weekend and stay safe my friend
We watched this movie on cable last month and I have to admit that I thought it was a little slow, not to mention that I had difficulty with the ending (I won't spoil it here:) For a Sparks adaptation, I loved The Notebook.
I have never seen this movie but my sis named her blog message in a bottle because of it (Horizon).

Barngoddess: Wee One wil love "E.T."! Yes, your hubby and I are probably the only two men on earth who watched "Bridges of Madison County". Eastwood made a gutsy move to play that role. Streep gave an interesting account of working with him which was fascinating.
Shona: Very cool!
This is far from my favorite movie, but it truly is from one of my favorite authors. Nicholas Sparks truly has a gift for bringing emotion to the page.
Jessica: I felt that Sean Penn Wright did a nice job!
