FROM THE ROAD: fleur de lisa, Katie and Seamus: Thank you so much for your kind words!
Patti: The only eventful evening concerned my walking into a hotel in Cincinnati while a man was having a heart attack sprawled out on a couch. I managed to assist a buddy reassuring him, while desk clerks were acting oblivious checking in 6 people. More on that in a future BLOG. The Paramedics were fantastic and I hope he made it.
Notta Wallflower: This will be as regular as wallpaper for the next year! :)
ellee: Glad you are still writing to me after what I posted about my MGB-GT! Housewarming party to be announced. The Cactus is everywhere! :)
p m prescott: Thanks. I find it weird how they pronounce "Prescott" on the local radio, though!
Ally: If you're in town then contact me and we'll show up at Ricks concert. They are always high octane and a huge celebration, aren't they? :D
jean-luc-picard: Like Ellee, I'm happy you either forgave or overlooked my comments on my MG! Thanks for the good word!!
Ole Blue: This IS already happening, yes! Along with some cool colored T-shirts. But I'm an optimist and feel it will be like an early Christmas unpacking treasures I may have forgotten about!
Sorlil: I see you are having fun there in the photo with your cute baby! I haven't been good at meme's where one is supposed to post it on their blog? It just hasn't clicked, that's all! :)
Bud: If I can find a groovy guitar teacher half as talented as you with your unique tailored approach, I'll count myself lucky! Thanks so much my friend, and I'll keep you posted!!!
Jessica: Yes, One of my best friends who is a fabulous realtor in Houston called me and she suggested this after checking my BLOG! How nice of you though! You rock, Jessica!
barngoddess: How often I've thought of you traveling through Indiana and Missouri and seeing scores of horses--none of them looking as beautiful as Scooter!
Tutu: (ALL: Tutu is also "ma" and she's back!) Of course. I have Charlie's sheet music to "Blue Carnations" and I can't wait to hear how the recording project is coming. (BACK TO ALL AGAIN: Tutu's husband Charles was a beloved musician in Hawaii who sadly, passed away two years ago. Tutu has been working in the recording studio on a CD project of Charles' music!)
Yellowrose: I am behind on you again! We'll catch up. I can't remember now if you were in Texas when I was on the air.
Joan: The only saving grace I have is that mover loaded my truck and they will un-load it. (But I did stay at a Holiday Inn Select!) :)
Enid: Prayers are welcomed, believe me!
THANKS TO ALL OF YOU FOR YOUR LOVE AND FRIENDSHIP, WHICH I VALUE. I HAVE QUITE A WAY TO TRAVEL YET AND WILL GET BACK TO BLOGGING ASAP! SEE YOU ALL SOON!
awwww thank you for saying that about my baby, Scooter. If you ever met him youd know he is as beautiful on the inside as he is on the outside :) I think he'd like you too!
barngoddess: Yes, I enjoy Scooter very much. What a beauty! You are blessed!! :) I KNOW I'd love to see him!!
Thomas: I arrive tomorrow and the movers get to work, then there's unpacking!
Lee Ann: I had a wonderful 2 day visit with friends in Lubbock. Tomorrow will be a tough day on the road and then getting the movers to unload me. But I'll be back! :D
My dear Michael, are you moving back to Texas? If you are, and if I get back that way, I will definately give you a holler. And if you come to Hawaii, dont forget to let me know. We can jam together. You and your guitar and me with my ukulele. :) Email me when you get settled. I have some things for you.
Good luck with the move, hope all goes smoothly. Yhank you for your continued encouragement regarding Kayla. I am continually amazed by her spirit. As rotten as it is to see a child suffer with cancer, I am struck by the incredible attitude so many in their shoes seem to have. Like Sahara, Bless her soul, Kayla is teaching us all valuable lessons about what's important.
