HEY, YOU'RE INVITED!

Early last night, I had a chance to sit down and have a "first look" at my own "Interview" that was filmed in late November, 2007 shortly before I relocated to Arizona from the Mid-West. The final edit will eventually be posted on my REEL PAGE. Today will give me a better opportunity to make some editing notes for my Videographer. But I have some exciting news and photos to share!

Invitations to the 51st Annual Gala benefiting the National Parkinson Foundation are being mailed out. If you are going to be in Ft. Lauderdale Beach, Florida on the weekend of February 23rd and want to attend, this is a great reason to "escape" the cold weather up North. Plus, I'd love to meet you! For more information on how to participate in this worthwhile benefit--to help us find the cause and a cure for Parkinson's disease--just Click-On the NPF Logo on the Right Hand margin of this BLOG PAGE and you'll find all the info you'll need. This year's Theme is "Hope Swings Eternal" and I am privileged to serve as Master of Ceremonies. We are going to have a BLAST at the St. Regis Resort & Spa! Take a look at this picture show I arranged just for YOU!

A Gorgeous Resort!

How About a Little Break from Blogging?

And Those Rooms!...

I know. It feels like Julia Roberts will show up, doesn't it?

Sure...get in your workout. Then...

The Spa Room...Oh come on, you know you deserve it!

Ah yes! At night, we dine in style...

Me? I'll be right up there in my borrowed tuxedo
from Regis Philbin!
(I'm just kidding Regis!)

There's
a bar Bogie and Bacall would love but...

...We're gonna Rhumba like Jennifer Grey and Patrick Swayze! Oh, Yeah!

Oh if only I could be there! But I will attend in spirit. Think of me when you're having a cocktail in the Bogie/Bacall Bar :)

A nice looking resort, but don't think I can make it--I have to be up here in MI where I hope I can enjoy the snow!

fleur de lisa: Well, one thing of beauty is looking out at the ice-covered trees from a warm home with a mug of coffee or Cocoa and maybe a wide lens camera! :) Stay warm and have a good weekend, Lisa!

Dianne: I checked with the Hotel and they said spirits are welcomed too. :) I'm not much of a drinker (I'm better at holding a drink as my prop and working my way around to visit people).

Sage: Not to worry. My Uncle lives there and told me the same thing. Hope you could attend the Auto Show!

jean-luc-picard: I admire your approach, Captain. In other words, she's married. I'm curious. Could the Enterprise hover while we--to quote Shakespeare, "Examine other beauties"? :D

I'd LOVE to be there, but unfortunately can't. My late Grampa had Parkinsons, so it would be something I would attend if I could. Hope you have fun!

Mrs. Murray: My condolences on the passing of your Grampa. If it is taped for a re-broadcast I'll let you know here. Thanks for stopping by!:)

Michael, what a beautiful place! I'd LOVE to be there right now! Alas, I am in cold snow-laden Utah, where it is pretty in a different way, working my tushie off at Sundance Film Festival. Having a blast, and I finALLY get a night off tonight to sleep! LOL.

Hope you're well. I so look forward to reading all about this. What a great tribute!
