TIME AFTER TIME!

This is my Honda Battery Alarm Clock!
____
Many of you have no doubt lost sleep over my earlier alarm clock story, so I felt that I better do a "follow-up". I was at the Honda dealership recently to have the valves adjusted on my car. I wandered into the Gift Shop and spotted the alarm clock you see above. I asked the price and found out it was the last one. So, I told the clerk I'd take it for 50% off the asking price and we shook on it. Basically, you set the clock and it wakes you up with the sound of an Indy Car (I like to think it's Danica Patrick's) ignition starting and the driver leaving the pits winding through 5 gears, sounds of the car skidding to a stop, and two horn beeps. A woman's voice that says "Time to wake up!" :D)

(Danica: I see the ring . But If you ever find yourself single...)
SMILE, IT'S SATURDAY!

You're a naughty boy, Michael. ;o)

Hope you have sweet dreams, even if Danica doesn't star in them. Ha!

Have a great weekend, Michael!

Love and hugs,

Diane

I always hear a woman say it's time to get up. That's what wives do.

dianne: I already have that problem covered! See? I think ahead! A friend of mine appeared in a TV commercial with me in 2004 and while we were on break, I asked her advice on asking out this girl who unfortunately had a boyfriend. I took notes on a paper plate BTW! She said, "Tell her she's a beautiful woman with a great personality, and that should she ever become single, you would hope that she would keep you in mind. Then give her your card". I said, " But women never call men". She said "I called my husband before we married". That's where the plea came from! :D

Oh...the ring. Yeah, I guess it looks okay. :D :D :D!!!

Seamus: I actually wake up laughing! I lie there listening to the driver winding through the gears! Fun! Then 2 cups of coffee. "Chock Full of Nuts". My brother-in-laws favorite!!!:D

p m: If Danica told me that, I'd run and find my CD of Ravel's "Bolero" and rush back to bed! :D

jean-luc-picard: It may be time for Ensign Danica to make an appearance on the USS Enterprise to ward off Ensign Britney and the dregs! :D

Michael, I have an idea. Why don't you star in the next episode of The Bachelor and the single women contestants you choose from must all either look like Danika Patrick, Marilyn Milian, or Catherine Vargas. Just pick out the nicest one. You couldn't lose!!

Carolyn: Now there's an idea! :D

Hello, Michael, thanks for visiting my blog - love your alarm clock. I had a room mate once who could have used that one!

So, you live in Phoenix! My daughter lives in Tempe...but has lived in Phoenix proper, Chandler, and Mesa.

Michael, what a fab blog! I'll be back to see how the saga continues with the clock, the race car driver lady, and whatever else you cook up.

Thanks for dropping by our YOG blog too. ;)

Love the clock although I wouldn't choose to get up that way myself! So cool your Mom is flying in!

I'm gonna check out your Spanish friend when I get caught up. CraZINESS HERE AS USUAL.

Heather: Hey, I moved my books out of the bedroom to the living room. Tada!:)

Sara: This will be quite an upcoming week! I gear up for the "Festival" about a year in advance. FUN!:D

Angie: I dropped by your collective writers place a few times but had trouble finding a place to leave a comment. You are all true authors. Great writing that is rich and imaginative!!!!

Very interesting clock. Not sure I'd want to wake up to the sounds of a motor, but I guess that's what makes horse races - or car races, in this case. Good luck with Danica. Maybe she'll read your blog and toss her current unworthy partner aside. Ya never know.

Raven: In all fairness to Danica's hubby, I wouldn't wish that. But... if there were say..."irreconcilable differences", well, I'm available in Northeast Phoenix and willing to travel! :D))
