LOOK, THE FEDORA HAT IS BACK!
Good Morning! I have a fun announcement to make, The Fedora Hat is back. E,I,E,I,O! :D) You laughed right? Good. Well, it's not Humphrey Bogart as Rick from "Casablanca".... ...nor Orson Welles as Hank Quinlan in the 1998 restored "A Touch of Evil"...
...19 years later, it's INDIANA JONES! Yes, Director Steven Spielberg is said to have done away with the George Lucas effects on this one, but the film reviewers at Cannes say it's great fun. Something to look forward to, eh? Cate Blanchett and John Hurt Co-Star. I am told (from sources I cannot divulge, lest I be killed) that this is no Godfather III. Calista Flockhart, thanks for allowing us to borrow back Harrison Ford. The film offerings of late have been sparse for the $9.50 (US) Admission fee.

I can't wait to see it..
I can't believe it's been 19 years,
where does the time go?
Hey Michael,
"Here's Looking at you kid!"
Great post.
Glenn Bishop
Green Tea: When one moves in with Calista Flockhart, I imagine it goes rather quickly! :D
Glenn: How true, except in this 105 degree heat!
Just haven't saw much at the Theater that i'd be interesting in seeing lately, including, sorry to say Indiana Jones. I've never saw the previous Indiana flicks either. I know you're thinking "Patti, you really need to get out more" LOL "broaden those horizons!"
I'm tired of "special effects" that overwhelm the rest of a movie. Your saying that the Director has "done away" with them might impel me to see this one. Yay Fedoras! That's one "special effect" that remains timeless.
I just saw some pics of Janet Jackson wearing a Fedora, she looked amazing.
I wish I could pull off wearing one but it just doesn't look right.
Harrison Ford IS a special effect ;)
omg! I cannot wait to go to this movie!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I know the theater will be packed and I dont even care ;)
Hi darling!!! Looks at your hat--cute!! Lomg time...*mauhz*
*Trots off*
Seems like this movie can't go wrong. I like fedoras and Harrison Ford. Yeee ha! And, of course, I love Indiana Jones.
Oh, Patti! :D
Seraphine: Well, this is appealing to me too! I can't wait!
dianne: Oh, KI bet you could too! :)
barngoddess: As long as you get a middle seat and maybe go during the day after Marvin, Freddie ad Scooter are fed..why not? :)
Kerry: "Here's looking at you kid"! :D
Raven: I can hear Sinatra blasting from your place already! Remember those awful covers of "Winchester Cathedral" and "Downtown"? Bwhahaa!!! Have fun, Raven! :)
I have heard, Indianna Jones and the crystal skull I think.
The others were great and I don't see why this one could be as fun to watch.
Besides Harrison isn't as young and durable as he used to be for him to be doing all those stunts.
Walker: But he has managed to attract Calista Flockhart who looks good in a mini skirt! HA! Face it my friend, we are temporarily in limbo, until this comes out. When Steve McQueen made "The Hunter" (his final film) one of the smartest things he did was to play it his age! Keep the Faith!!!!
Just stopping by to your blog and say Hello to you Michael, hope you are doing great!!
Best wishes as always
Yours always :)
Maria
Maria: I wish I could tag along with you to a Terasbetoni concert! You would have to translate later! But we could be head-bangers and no one in the audience would realize I don't speak Spanish! :D)
