FOLLOW UP TO ASPCA'S ADOPT A SHELTER CAT MONTH!
Why Waste a Pair of Shoes?_
If you haven't guessed by now, every June I do a post for my friends over at ASPCA to remind all of us about "Adopt A Shelter Cat Month". ASPCA is awesome (and they let me interview them on what else? "THE INTERVIEW"). Anyhow, ASPCA held a photo contest of Shelter Cats from June and here are just a few friends I helped to support. There is an Arizona License Plate that reads "Pets Enrich Our Lives" and I know this for a fact. I have teetered on adopting a Maltese puppy, but the time is not right in the Manning household (I'm single but I still qualify as a "household", believe me). May these photos inspire you to be kind to pets, and please consider adopting a Cat or Dog from an ASPCA Shelter, because Pets promote Love and Peace. They are a responsibility, I know, But they give back so much to a loving home. Have a nice week!

I, of course, love the guitar one!
We have two adopted kittehs.
One we found in a dumpster. He still gets in the garbage! Usually after midnight looking for food - Just like a gremlin! We should have named him Gizmo!
D-Man: I believe that he is posing in his new home! These are adopted Cats. But I can see this little guy enjoying your music!
Tricia: How nice to hear from you,my friend! Knowing of your generous heart, I'm not surprised that you reached out to two kittens. lol!!! :D
aww...so cute...
Madison's little kitty Sneaky is about to have her first litter of kitten (bad me did not get her spayed in a timely manner but it WILL be rectified after the bundles of joy arrive).
I think we'll let her keep one :)
You already know how strong my feelings are about animal rescue and animal rights so I won't ramble on again!
I'll just say great photos and wonderful captions.
And thank you for always speaking up for those who don't have a voice of their own.
Such cute pictures. My two cats were rescued straight from the streets, so to speak, but the ASPCA does wonderful work. Hopefully a day will come when there are spay neuter programs and less strays and when people know better than to be cruel and neglectful of their animals.
I enjoyed your closet comment wordzzle at Dianne's, by the way.
Both of my kitties are rescues--Lucy and Amber. Thanks for what you do for this cause.
I really like the cat petting the dog. Our dogs and cat were adopted through animal shelters.
Flip Flop: I know! It's hard to decide which one is heads (or ears) above the rest!:D)
Evening, Patti: Absolutely! Maddie will have a hard time making up her mind, I know! :)
dianne: We have a local Puppy Place where the "Door Greeter" is Jordan the Cat. When he has had a long day, you may not see him right away, but you hear a meak little "Meoooow". Translation: "Yeah, I'm Jazzed you are here, but I'm napping right now. Hang out with my friends, tough! lol, Dianne!!!:)
Raven: How cool! I have seen photos of your Cats and they have a lot of personality (just like RAVEN!!!!)!:)
Teresa: It's easy to speak up for defenseless cats and dogs. While there are tragedies, I also focus on the successes and what we must do to prevent cruelty! Yes. lol!!!:)
p m: That's terrific! They have to love where you live too!!!:)
Cats Cats Cats and more cats oh and a dog.
I had my fill this last week I tell yeah but I love my furry friends and people should spay or neiter their pets.
We adopted a stray cat, but we haven't taught him to play guitar yet, still working on it :-)
