James Brown was one of my husbands favorite entertainers and he turned me on to him! We have followed his career for many years and and yes he is the king of soul! His energy was unsurpassed and he was one of the greatest showmen ever
Minnesota Blue: I SO agree. A friend of mine saw him last year in concert and his dance moves were just blazing fast! :)
I still remember him on the Blues Brothers movie.
I have always thought of him and Jerry Lee Lewis as the two most influential people in music.
Where others introdiced us to a new era these two bashed down all the laws put up to stop rock and roll
