AIR CHARITY NETWORK HAS LANDED!
_
Air Charity Network (ACN) provides access for people in need seeking free air transportation to specialized health care facilities or distant destinations due to family, community or national crisis. The network includes the following: Airlift Hope, Angel Flight Central, Angel Flight Mid-Atlantic, Angel Flight Northeast, Angel Flight Southeast, Angel Flight West and Mercy Flight Southeast. Each of these entities coordinates volunteer pilot missions in the continental United States as well as Alaska and Hawaii._
Mercy Medical Airlift coordinates free airline tickets for missions over 1,000 miles and negotiates low cost air ambulance service for individuals and families, who are in need of this special service. Each of the seven member organizations you see listed above holds a seat on the ACN Board, and the officer positions currently rotate annually among the member organizations. Air Charity Network also has a full-time Executive Director who helps manage the day-to-day national-level responsibilities and foster healthy and helpful cooperative communication among the members. I am proud to welcome Air Charity Network and I invite you to have a look at what they offer!

I'm very familiar with Angel Flight. I live in the center of the flight path between Memphis and Little Rock, Memphis and Jonesboro, Arkansas, Memphis and St. Louis. Almost all helicopters we see around here are medivac flights. I try to offer up a prayer every time I hear or see a helicopter.
Thank God my family and I have never needed Angel Flight, but it's reassuring to know that they're there if we do. God bless them and keep them safe.
Have a great Friday and weekend, Michael! :o)
Love and hugs,
Diane
That's lovely. I'll keep an eye on that one for sure.
AWESOME Michael!
Have a great week-end
Diane: As a former Helicopter Reporter, I can tell you that Medivac helicopters can charge between $14,000-$18,000 to a family. These private pilots choose to be involved from the heart as volunteers. lol, Diane!!! :D
Bud: As a father, I know you understand how important good people like this really are! Take care, my friend!
Morning, Patti: You Too! And smiles to Maddie!!! :)
what a wonderful org. and a great idea. so many ways to put our talents and experience to work - just as you do Michael :)
i am awed that there are people and organizations like this.
you hear about all the bad things in the world, but hardly ever the outstanding people who do good things like this.
dianne: They ROCK and so do you, my friend! Have a nice weekend!!!:)
Seraphine: they inspire me, just as you do! may you win the lottery!!!!!!:)
That's very commendable. I used to work at an airport and one of my duties was readying the Medivac planes for patient transfers. It was a lot of work (and a lot of fun) pulling out the seats and putting the oxygen tanks in the plane.
Martini: Wow! I saw it from the other end as a Television Helicopter Reporter and it was something I'll never forget. Very Humbling!
Have a nice weekend, Martini!
They sound a great group, Michael.
jean-luc-picard: I Agree!
What a wonderful message here.
People who actually are thinking about someone else and not just their pocket books.
Green Tea: You make such a good point. I have found that in the midst of tregic circumstances, there are those who do not answer a call and those who DO. I prefer to focus on those who answer the call, because they are Merciful! lol!:)
Thats great.
Helping out people is a good thing and good business.
People want to hire someone with this kind of integrity
Walker: Good for the soul too! :)
