HOPEFUL HOLIDAY MESSAGE!
Many of you have both business and pleasure travel scheduled for December, as I do. With the Holiday Season now officially in high gear, I've reflected on some amazing memories that have taken place here. From my comedic Blogs about childhood pranks (three reverse somersaults down my parents stairs into the basement at age 8 while arguing with a sibling) to the story of a 17 year-old girl in Kentucky who saved a blind horse from being destroyed and later won a dressage competition --it's been so enjoyable for me to write here.

There's been plenty of hilarious antics too, such as my interview with Denny Shane, my crazy "Contests" (remember "The Lawnmower Karaoke Contest" with the guys from TLC's "American Chopper" TV series?) and our many "Theme Weeks". "THE INTERVIEW" hasn't yet reached it's full potential for a number of reasons I may tackle in another blog post sometime. But when people DID come on here to be interviewed, it was a pretty big "Event". For example, as an ASPCA supporter for years, you can only imagine how delighted I was to interview Annemarie Lucas and Joseph Pentangelo of the New York City ASPCA and The Learning Channel's (TLC) television show "Animal Precinct". Here are two personalities known to millions of television viewers. Nevertheless, they were so generous to me and self-less to commit to being my Guest. They struggled for almost one-year through non-stop demands of their schedules to answer each of my questions. That's determination! And eventually, we completed a great visit together. It's the smaller miracles like this that make me smile when I think about the decision I made to add a BLOG Page to my full Website so long ago. For the Holiday's, I've decided to include a special ASPCA public service message featuring singer/musician Sarah McLachlan. With so much bad news reported in the media, I wanted to counter this with a hopeful message for a change! I hope you agree!
See you soon!
Michael

I have really enjoyed your blog over the last year since being introduced to it! I, too, lovelovelove Sarah McLachlan! What an amazing artist she is and soooo beautiful, too! Happy Holidays to you!
3 Magpies: Thanks for those kind words of supportiveness! I have been a fan of Sarah since I first first heard her CD, "Surfacing". And I agree with your description of her too. :)
Hey Michael - nice message :-)
You have consistently provided an interesting and diverse blog and I enjoy coming to visit.
btw - I am a great admirer of Joe and Annemarie, and I loved their interview.
Happy Thanksgiving, Michael!

Crazie Queen: lol! I admire Annemarie a lot. She's a very smart and compassionate girl who has really found her calling. Joe is a Class Act too. A retired police officer who patrolled on horseback and is today with ASPCA as an agent and also an actor who has appeared in "Law & Order", among other gigs! A good guy. :)
Captain Picard: I look forward to attending your Christmas Party in England abord the USS Enterprise. After all...someone has to ensure that Ensign Britney is lured to the cargo bay for the duration of the event so we can have some peace! :D)
Girl Rants: I chuckle at the thought of how many of we guys have had a crush on Sarah McLachlan (she's married, of course). But I still think she rocks! Thanks for the message and hope you are staying warm and flu-free in NYC! :)
This is a wonderful message and a perfect reminder for us all.
I hope you had a wonderful Thanksgiving!
Lisa: lol! It was pretty low-key: two Salmon appetizers with Basil and a Martini. But it was a nice cap to a busy day catching up on so many things at home, which was really kinda nice. My first Thanksgiving spent in Arizona! :)
I always enjoy reading your blog, such a variety of interests and you make them interesting! Whatever happened to Denny Shane BTW?
(squinga was the word verification)
I saved a circus chimp once.
PBS: Squinga, huh? Never heard of it, But maybe if you hum a few bars...:D) I enjoy your site as well. Mucho Thanks! :)
D-Man: I changed what I originally wrote as a response, because knowing you this actually happened! (Hope so!). :D) Just in case, I'll save it for another time. ;->
I love Sarah and it is a beautiful message.
Hope you had a great holiday weekend Michael.
Green Tea: I did. It was great, and glad to see you like Sarah too. Quite a talented lady! :)
You know how I feel about Sarah. She's a wonderful person, and even nicer in person than she is in the media. I'm very lucky to have gotten to work with her. And I'm VERY lucky to have YOU, my dear Michael, as a friend. I'm thankful for our friendship. And happy that you have kept up your blog. You rock!
LAST GIRL ON EARTH - Deni
Deni (Denzolla:D): lol! Yeah, I remember when we talked about that in Florida. FUN! BTW: I LUV your new song "It's You and Me This Christmas"!
ALL: Go over to visit Denzolla's site (LAST GIRL ON EARTH) right now, have a listen and buy a download. It'll do you some good! You rock, dear friend!!! :D)
True story. :)
D-Man: Good Work!:D)
