THAT POSTER!

Remember this poster? Boy, I do! Actually, I was curious about what ever became of "the most printed poster in history". That, plus I like to think that I have good tastes...Now for some news...Jason Buckley, my Webmaster has a cool, new website at: http://bassnation.today.com/ ...I looked it over and then shot him an e-mail to let him know (whether this dates me or not) that I actually saw the band Weather Report live in concert with Jaco Pastorius...I Confess that I just now shipped my Christmas gifts...Trevor Tredaway and David M. Bailey are two unflappable souls and I appreciate the nice comments from those of you keeping them in your thoughts and prayers...Consider dropping them a comment on their websites...My computer is still in the repair shop...However, I was able to finish a bio piece to be featured in an upcoming Airways magazine issue...Have you seen any movies lately? I plan on seeing: "Frost/Nixon", maybe "Australia"...Ever the optimist, I must admit that I'm looking forward to reviewing the results of my photo shoot from last week soon...Hey, wasn't my Guest Mel Haber a BLAST on "THE INTERVIEW"?...Mel has no idea when I'm showing up at The Ingleside Inn...(and to tell you the truth, neither do I) but I'll tell you this much...I'll be asking for HIS autograph with a copy of his book tucked under my arm...That's all for now...see ya soon!

I loved your interview..
I have spent the last couple days catching up on movies I hadn't seen.
Last night I watched The Chronicles of Narnia..
I had read the book many years ago and put off watching the movie.
I'm glad I finally watched it..

Green Tea: lol! I'm happy you enjoyed Mel's visit! It's nice to finally get around to something you've put off doing, isn't it? I know I should vacuum my apartment...maybe tomorrow! :D)

Oh yeah, I remember that poster! :) What's sad is that Farar Facwett must be around 60 now (but then, that makes me...)

I was in Seminary when that poster came out and you would be surprised at how many religious leaders today had it up in their rooms. Alas I was married and the wife wouldn't let me get it.
We've seen Australia. They tried to cram too many movies into one, but it has stunning scenery and good acting.

P M: Amen to that! It kinda grows on you. Hey, by the way: my Physical Therapist is from Brisbane and I asked him about the movie "Australia". He said it was good but nothing he'd see a second time. I opted for "Frost/Nixon" instead and now find myself wanting to see the original tapes. Once a reporter, always a reporter I suppose! Have a Blessed New Year, P M! :)

This is all very uplifting news, Michael. I'm so glad your year has gone so well down there. Making progress every day, you are. I'm enjoying Jason's new site too. Lots of cool stuff hes managed to find and post.

That poster! Yeah, I remember it well. Made me really start to appreciate the finer points of petite girls.

And Yeah your Mel interview was amazing. Happy new year, my friend.

Ahh that poster. I had it. Right above my bed. My mom hated it and it was awesome. I don't remember what happened to it when I moved from Wisconsin to Ohio as a 5th grader. My mom must have "lost it". Moms always win.

Oh do I remember this poster.
I loved your interview and envie you.
Sitting back and listening to people tell you about their lives is mesmerizing

DJ Davy B: Yeah, I was forced to remove the large 24" X 36" poster of a nude Raquel Welch from my bedroom door at age 13 (under protest...hell, you couldn't see anything but I did try to plead my case). It wound up going to a 90 year old man my eldest brother worked with. As a joke, they taped it to the back of his ornate office door. He never let on. But that poster went with him after he retired! :D)

Walker: I'm in the mesmerizing business now! ...Just kidding. But thank you for your many nice compliments through the year, Walker. It's my Guests who carry the show. I'm just the guy who asks questions...that's all really. :)
