WOMEN'S BOBSLED FINAL HEATS TONIGHT!
Under snowfall conditions, the Women's Bobsled competition in Whistler, Canada last night was very intense. Team USA sled II's Erin Pac and push athlete Elana Meyers placed second in the first day of women’s bobsled 2010 Olympic competition after the first two of four heats. Competition will continue tonight at 5 p.m. PST, and the winner will be determined by the team with the lowest combined time over four heats.

What an amazing race last night, wasn't it?! All the tumbles, and the ultimate Canadian victory! And the U.S. girls seemed even more excited than the Canadian teams!

the team i was cheering (because of their california connection), bree and emily, just missed a medal by finishing in 5th place, with usa1 (shauna & michelle) finishing 6th.
that's a *great* finish for team usa, considering the difficult track and the talented teams competing. congrats all!
