Here is Team USA Driver Steve Holcolm with Brakeman Curt Tomasevicz
from the Winter Olympics in Vancouver last night. They placed 6th and ran
a very good race. Next up is the Womens 2-Man Bobsled and in 6 days, the

United States Bobsled and Skeleton Federation CEO Darrin Steele
said today that he believes the Whistler Olympic track is safe for the
teams to compete. He added that the death of Georgian luge athlete
Nodar Kumaritashvili during a training run last week is a "reminder of
the inherent danger" of sliding. American Skeleton athletes trained on
the track for the first time today.

athletes. But today, all of that changes on my BLOG Page. We've been
featuring both Men's and Women's Team Bobsled athletes. Today, we
hear a brief audio interview of Chico, California native Emily Azevedo.
Emily will team up with driver Bree Schaaf in the third sled entered into
the Winter Olympics--a 'first'--3 sleds!

Occasionally, a person of accomplishment becomes overlooked in the world

of commercial aviation. Earl L. Estwick, Sr., is one such individual. He was the

highest-ranking person of color at Pan American World Airways when assistant to

President Najeeb Halaby, who was at the helm of Pan Am from 1969 to 1972.
